Daltonschool 't Kompas description

’t Kompas is een Christelijke Daltonschool. De bijbel is het uitgangspunt en de inspiratiebron voor al het doen en laten bij ons op school.

Iedere schooldag wordt begonnen met een gebed. Er worden liederen gezongen en bijbelse verhalen verteld. Het kerstfeest wordt samen met de kinderen en de familie gevierd, het paasfeest wordt gevierd met alle leerlingen. Ook aan andere kerkelijke feesten wordt uiteraard aandacht besteed.

De school staat open voor kinderen van allerlei gezindten. Iedereen is welkom, maar we verwachten dat de ouders/verzorgers van onze leerlingen bovengenoemd uitgangspunt van de school en al wat daarmee samenhangt respecteren.

De school wil graag een goedpedagogisch klimaat realiseren, waarin alle kinderen tot hun recht kunnen komen. Ze moeten zich er veilig en geborgen voelen. Dat houdt ook in dat we de kinderen willen opvoeden volgens o.i. vaste normen en waarden. Zo is grof taalgebruik uit den boze.
De kinderen moeten leren respect te hebben voor elkaar en ze moeten hun medeleerlingen in hun waarde laten. Alleen dan wordt een situatie geschapen waarin alle kinderen zich kunnen ontplooien. 'T Kompas is a Christian Dalton. The Bible is the starting point and inspiration for all the comings and goings at our school.

Each school day begins with a prayer. There songs are sung and told Bible stories. Christmas is celebrated with the children and the family, Easter is celebrated by all pupils. Also to other religious festivals are obviously paid attention.

The school is open to children of all faiths. Everyone is welcome, but we expect the parents / guardians of our students above premise of the school and all that goes with respect thereto.

The school would like to create a good educational environment in which all children can come into their own. They need to feel safe and secure there. That also means that we want to raise the children according o.i. fixed values. So bad language out of the question.
Children should learn to respect each other and they have to let their peers in their value. Only then a situation is created in which all children can develop.
