Nowadays Brest Fortress is a great memorial center and the largest complex of the historical objects and architecture of Belarus. However the developed area of the Memorial Complex “Brest Hero Fortress” takes only the third of the fortress, more than 70% are out of the tourists and citizens’ attention. Due to this fact many important objects of the historical and cultural heritage are almost not visited.

The experts of the information technologies - EPAM Systems (Brest, Belarus), carry out the technical development of the application. Brest Fortress Development Fund, supported by the Memorial Complex “Brest Hero Fortress”, Brest Regional Ethnography Museum and Brest History Museum, are responsible for the content creation.

This application was developed as the result of a sustainable tourism hackathon in the Brest Fortress, sponsored by United Nations Development Program (UNDP) in Belarus. The application is the result of the game concept envisaged by a hackathon participant, implemented under the mentorship of EPAM. UNDP and EPAM maintain a long lasting cooperation history in social innovation development.
