Alisson Ramses Becker, also known as Alisson, was born in Novo Hamburgo in the state of Rio Grande do Soul, Brazil, on October 2, 1992. He joined the Internacional academy at the age of 11 in 2003 and made his senior debut ten years later. He recorded 83 appearances in all competitions. The goalkeeper came from the same club with the Giallorossi icon, Paulo Roberto Falcao, who joined Roma from Internacional in 1980 and became an inseparable part of the success of the 1982/83 Scudetto. The former Roma midfielder recently labeled Alisson as "a great goalkeeper with extraordinary technique and formidable physique".

The Brazilian goalkeeper successfully won the title with Internacional in four consecutive seasons, from 2013-2016. He got a call to strengthen Brazil U-17s in 2009 and made nine appearances for the young squad before helping the U-20 national team win the Toulon Tournament in 2013. Alisson made his senior debut for the Selecao when he won a 3-1 win over Venezuela in the World Cup qualifiers, 13 October 2015. He quickly became one with the national team and played in the 2016 Copa America Centenario, United States.
