Join us at the 13th World Islamic Economic Forum (WIEF) to discuss the impact and challenges of life-altering disruptive ideas as well as technologies with some of the finest minds in the world today. At WIEF, you’ll get a chance to not only explore solutions and possibilities on how to best benefit from this dynamic development but also to grab the chance for face-to-face meetings between Forum participants, sponsors and exhibitors which in turn develops your network through various programmes, and the main ones are:
Business Exchange - It’s an avenue for businesses to expand their outreach by hosting a networking table with interested participants in attendance. The session is crafted around a business presentation which is a 7-minute elevator pitch, followed by a networking session with interested participants at designated tables. It’s been proven to be an effective platform for businesses to have their pitch heard to participants.
IdeaPad - It’s a niche event that gives a sneak peek into the world of startup business. It provides an important platform for aspiring entrepreneurs with innovative groundbreaking and disruptive ideas to capture the interest of potential clients and investors from across the globe. Pre-qualified companies is given the stage to pitch their business ideas to a panel of judges comprising of venture capitalists, private equity firms and angel investors.
Business Networking Breakfast - It’ll held on the second morning of the 13th WIEF. It aims to encourage greater networking opportunities amongst participants from specific industries. It allows like-minded individuals to get together over a relaxed and informal breakfast setting and discuss the challenges and issues pertaining to their relevant industries. The list of industries you can expect to attend the programme includes agriculture, renewable energy, infrastructure, SMEs and startups.
LinkedUp - It’s also known as ‘Business Matchmaking’ and it’s a value-added business service that’s provided at the 13th WIEF for participants and organisations to seek access to new contacts, networks and suitable business collaborators to explore possible opportunities. It’s an online Business Matchmaking System exclusive to registered forum participants and it’s available from 6 - 27 November 2017.
