2009 개정 교육과정의 효율적 운영을 위해 2014년도 적용 초등학교 3학년 사회과의 지역화 콘텐츠를 개발·보급을 위함이며 본 교육용 콘텐츠는 부산광역시교육청 관내 전 초등학교와 특수학교에 보급된다.
산업사회에 표준화된 교육과정에 의해 지식을 전달하는 학교 시스템에서 개별화된 맞춤 교수학습 서비스를 지원할 수 있는 “스마트교육”을 통하여 미래사회를 대비한 창의적인 글로벌 인재를 양성을 목적으로 하고 있는 모바일 이플리케이션이다.
