The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has established in Haripur University in 2012.
The university cover is spread on the 236 canal area on the basis of a factory of Rosin and Turpentine.Initially, it was Hazara University's Haripur sub campus and was established in March 2008.Haripur Campus, then in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government in 2012 graduated in the complete academic university Haripur.
